Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course, electronics and communication engineering because, this course is very updated and this is very very good for in our future development. In computer science field in few years they are outdated. So this course is very good for the future

Hostel is very nice. Tge girls hostel is superb. In the college ragging is not allowed. Therefore the first year's and other year got live in seperate college hostels and also girls ate not allowed pg.

I have not git interview sections because i am studying in the second year that cause i didn't get the interview sections.but seniors are also tell about the interview sections. The interviewer are checked our skills only.

Night Life

The late night life in your college is... I am a girl so they are restricted.alsi i live in tge college hostel. But in the case of events or program they allowed to live night inthe college with specific reason.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
