Course Curriculum Overview

Of course , Physics hons is one of the toughest course to study , so opt it if you have interest in physics otherwise you might be regretting . The faculty of physics department in Hindu college is best in DU.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in first year , so I don't have any prior experience in internship yet.Yet there are many societies like Placement cell, Disha, E-cell which provides good internship and entrepreneurship oppportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

28400 INR is the annual fee of physics hons. Fee is affordable but cost of living in Delhi depends on location so it is upon the person .You can get Inspire scholarship by clearing the boards cutoff and then maintaining CGPA every year.

Campus Life

Campus Life is great. The annual fest of Hindu College is MECCA ,which happens in March/,April. The departmental fest of Physics is QUARK, which will happen in Feb/March. The library is well and good. Hindu college is having biggest sports ground in entire DU..

Admission

The admission process was smooth but the late due to mismanagement by NTA in Cuet ug 2023 exam .Same goes with the CSAS portal. If you are targeting for Bsc physics hons then in Cuet you have to opt PCM and a language. Still the cutoff will be in 600 marks i.e PCM( you have to pass language paper with 30% only). For North campus you must have score of 400+/600 in PCM . if you are targeting for Hindu College then 430+ will be safe score..

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Placement Experience:

We have an active placement cell in the college. Students are eligible for placement in 6th Semester. there are quite a lot of companies that offer jobs and we do get a decent average package. I plan on pursuing master's degree after this.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

It is a place to develop yourself.

Placement Experience:

I think from 3 year 5th semester students are eligible for the placement. Companies that comes are Deloitte,ibm etc. i have not too much knowledge about that but i think the median package is 4-5 lakh per annum and highest is 10 lakh. My want to become more professional and become capable to buy anything of my interest.

I choose this college as it got the NIRF rank 1 in 2024. The college is very diverse in terms of courses and students. The college has a campus area of around 25 acre. I have applied for the other colleges of north campus too but Hindu College was my first priority. I got it in the first round of common seat allocation system so I didn't need to bother to choose other colleges. I have to give cuet exam so that I can take admission in Delhi University. The eligibility for my course was to study mathematics till 12th class and the student who has given maths exam in cuet and 2 other subject and 1 language exam. Then the cutoff for this course comes in various colleges. College and course are allotted on the CSAS portal of Delhi University.
