I chose ba program for my graduation because i have ti prepare for civil services . My college faculty is average working senior professors are good at teaching but new ones are not so good . Students are good of my college.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In starting of 1st year fee was 12500 of my college whicb is normal not so costlier but in 2nd year it increased to 17500 which was so much for many students. Then in 3rd year also it increased to 25500 which is so much costly . Fees increased rapidly .

College life is good . Deen dayal upadyay college have one of the best infrastructure of Delhi university, centralised ac , smart projectors etc . All the societies of college are active and they do their work

Admission

It was an easy process for me to take admission because we got marks of 12th board for free due to corona . I got approx 96% without giving exam and then i applied for Delhi university and got my name in many colleges and i selected Deen Dayal upadhyay college.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

I also applied in Satyawati College and Keshav Mahavidyalaya. My admission was confirmed in Satyawati College but than I switched to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College because many of my school seniors were already pursuing courses from this College. So I already had a glance about college and its faculty members. Moreover, in DDUC the environment is really nice. The facilities that they provide no other DU college provides. Fully furnished classrooms, well lit with centralised AC all this attracted me towards this college. During my time the admission was on merit basis. But now one has to attempt CUET in order to get admission in any of the DU colleges.
