Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course is one of the best in the college faculty is amazing and supportive there is also a mentor for every student with whom we can discuss our future endeavours. All the facilities are well qualified they are masters in their field and many of them are even phd holders so they know their subjects very well. The exams are twice in a year after every semester ends. And they are not very easy to pass one has to study well in advance

Internships Opportunities

2.5

One can have internship with Universities like JNU and DU itself as particularly in my course one can offer multiple skills like web developer, database manager, android developer. Because of the variety that the course teahces us.

Placement Experience

2

Students can apply for internships from their second year and can sit in campus placements in the final year. Multiple MNC's have visited the college like Byju's, Accenture, ICICI Bank, MRF Tyres , Deollite etc Highest package that was secured last year was of 10 lacs and avg is somewhere around 7-8lacs

Fees and Financial Aid

There is not a very big fees hike that I've seen in the fee structure of my course as it also one of most opted course the college has set up reasonable fee charges. There are various fee concession scholarships for minorities and reserved students.

Campus Life

4

The life in the college is fun. There is multiple fests going on in the college over the entire year. We have holi fest, diwali fest , annual cultural fest, multiple societies individual fests. Library is full of books and journal material also college is equipped with e-library. Sports clubs are also very active . Shikhar the mountaineering club is one of the best adventure clubs in the entire du which conducts multiple trekking events in the entire year.

Admission

I took admission in 2021 and it was merit based admission at that time but now as the CUET has come so if one is opting for some popular courses for exam Bsc Cs honors or Bcom honors then the cutoff for unreserved category can stand some above 650 marks.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
