The life of an average engeneering student

Being the 1st semister the syllabus is same for every course. And the topic and depth of study not very high cause being the 1st semister. The faculty:student I snearly 1:70. I choosed this course cause it has offered high packages and I had intrest in it. The faculty review is good. Actually the sem takes place in 2 or 2 and half months. Difficulty of the exam will be considered by the respective professor. On overall the difficulty is moderate or high.

I am a 1st year ug student. As I said before I don't know about the internship and job opportunities. As per what seniors told me the internship oppertunity is good but not high and everything's runs around cgpa. Please don't consider my rating here since I have no experience in it.

I am 1st year ug student. I don't actually know about the placements much but I have been told to maintain good cg cause they 1st only check the cgpa. For the cse students they don't much consider the cgpa but for other courses it is explained above.dont consider my rating here cause I don't know about it.

The fees is paid through the ERP website of respective iit campus. It has hostel fees, mess fees, and respective semister fees. They will provide some amount of financial assistance fore lower caste like sc and st, for those whose parents monthly income is less than 50000. About the campus jobs I don't actually know about much about cause I am a 1st year ug student.

The life in campus is good. Like for now only 2 fests have taken place. And every one is waiting for the spring fest and kshitij. The extra curricular actitives like there happened and sports competition but on going to 3rd or 4th years the faculty doesn't provide much time and permission for the other activites mainly for the cse students. We have one of the biggest libraries in the Asia. It has almost every kind of book like for study, drama, poetry, gk, etc. On overall the life here is enjoyable unless you enjoy education.

The hostel faculty is very good considering other hostels in which I have been. It has a library, music room, indoor sports room, and badminton, cricket, volleyball courts which are maintained in good condition. It has a room of accomodation for 3 students. And 2 common bathrooms for a wing of 20 rooms. I have been given a desk and a chair along with a cart. We should buy our own bed. We can connect to college wlan which has higher speed connectivity with internet.

The admission process was through josaa. Firstly I took the jee mains examination and once I got the enough percentile above 90 to qualify for the jee adv exam. After preparation of 2 months I took the jee adv exam, after 1 month the councelling has started for the admissions of college. You should choose the institutes in the correct order to get the prefered institute. The councelling has started and has 7. I got karaghpur at the 7 th round. And the document verification and others are done after going to the institute.
