Remarks

The college management is very supportive and supports the ideas of project vividly. There is no other side of business and the records are maintained accordingly. The research the department is the most important thing in the college and it has done many projects and published successfully. The infrastructure ensures peaceful and stressful environment. The hostel is the one thing that needs improvement other than that it's a good place to study and for extra circular activites.

Entrance Preview

CET. This Is an interesting course and unlike other courses this has a lot to do with the technology and deals with only software whereas the branch of computer science deals with both hardware and software

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship. Many companies and startups have been coming and the highest package was 3.5 lakh. There is a training undergoing process which starts in 2nd year by the placement department of the college which helps a lot in communication skills and trains for the future exams like IELTS etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

There were a total of 72 students from all the branches who got placed successfully in 2018 and a total of 120 places in 2017. The placement process is going on and is sure to complete about 140-150 students in the following year. Few companies are: Infosys LG SoftIndia Hp Cisco Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy Services Manam technologies Toyota Unisys L and T Infotech EMC2 Robosoft Huawei Beacon Isometric solutions etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. If coming through CET, the student will have to pay the CET fees and additional of 20,000. If coming through management, the student has to pay 1, 00,000 for electronics and communication department, mechanical department and civil engineering. 1,15,000 for information science and engineering 1,50,000 for computer science and engineering. The transportation within 8km radius costs 10,000 and beyond costs 20,000 annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently, there is no news about the scholarship or loans offered by the college. But national scholarship is given to the registered students.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus has a good infrastructure and a very peaceful environment. The boys to girls ratio is almost 1:2. There is no ragging in college or near the college. Both boys and girls are equally respected and both are u given equal opportunities when it comes to sports and competitions. Workshops are conducted 2 to 3 times in every sem giving the knowledge about various stuffs like entrepreneurship, app development etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities needs a little improvement. Each room is allocated for 4 students. The food is average and the hostel warden is probably unaware of it. Many students changed from hostel to PGs nearby which reduced the cost to 10%. Each room consists of 4 beds attached by tablets. The environment is good and peaceful.

Alumni/Alumna

I had referred a senior friend of mine who introduced me to the college and they were pretty happy with the college. The college is improving and developing well in each field. I've met many seniors regarding the college and almost 75-80% of them are happy with the college.

Exam Structure

As usual the exams and the lab are conducted in a strict disciplined manner. The syllabus is completed in time and each experiments are explained in detailed by the faculty. Doubts are encouraged well. Few lab equipments were missing at first and then when complained were replaced throughly.

Admission

Got admitted through referral of a friend. The administration was very polite and the principal personally talked to the students and the infrastructure of the college was also good and is improving in a very good way. The placement department is also good and very supportive. The college is little far from the city but ensured good transportation. Recently the college applied for the NBA and is looking forward to successfully getting into a high standards college.

Faculty

4.5

Most of the faculties have completed the masters degree and every program has atleast 2 to 3 people who have completed their Ph. D. The faculty is very supportive and helps when it comes to project. The standards are not very high but the faculties are helpful when it comes to teaching. Every program will have around 15 faculties and every faculties will be assigned for the proctor activity where every faculty will be assessing and will have around 15 children under them.

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.
