Course Curriculum Overview

3

1)I like the technology related things so I choose this course. 2) They provide the work shops for us to expirence real world applications. 3)They often teach in kannada if they were teaching in english it would be great. 4)We can't manage frequency and timing of exams

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not that good as u should study by your own and get a job from 4 sem students are eligible for campus placements highest placement was 45 lakhs in Japan and average is 4-5 lakhs per annum. I think Many students won't get placement in this college. I'm planning for good job in any company or thinking to be an content creater

Fees and Financial Aid

So my tution fees is 3.5lakhs for first year then other 3 years 3 lakhs so total 4 years 12.5 lakhs fees we should pay - management quota. Sen end exams they collect 1.8k for registration includes lab fees. Merit based scholarship based on 12th results they provide discount of 50k for management quota and 10k discount if u score 8.5 cgpa.

Campus Life

3

In terms of this all are good in this campus the club's are good, they organise good fests and cultural activities are damn good . They provide extracurricular activities on campus selection will happen and deserved student gets chance to play in tournaments. Club's impact on student life as it provides opportunities to explore new things.

Admission

I joined this college because I had no other option left rather than joining this college ????, I couldn't score well in kcet and jee, so my rank was 73k in kcet I thought I won't get any good colleges, after applying for councelling in 2nd round I got Tjhon college of engineering but I didn't like that college so I choose jyothy college because at last 2 seats were left and 15 days were left for sem 1. I had applied for other colleges like pes university I wrote pessat and got 11k rank but my course was not available for this rank. I badly wanted to join dayananda sagar harohalli but seats were filled I was late to enquire tried and requested many times but they didn't give seat. I got 65k rank in comdek but I didn't apply for counselling this was my big mistake I could get good colleges, they said I was getting seat in jyothy through comdek. So rather than taking drop I joined jyothy Institute of technology. To join this college u need to clear comdek or kcet of rank 60k and 30k respectively.

Faculty

3

1)The faculties are good in teaching and they approach to every students. 2)Basavesh sir and Namrata ma'am they are the cs faculty their teaching is good interactive with students. 3)I don't like biosensor subject it is the worst subject I have ever seen never knew that I should study that subject in engineering. 4)There are 3 internals exams it is easy ,1 sem end exams ,lab exams are also there.

Interview Experience

3

Nothing if your 12th result is good it will help a lot they will live u instant discount of 50K . admission can be done through kcet ,comdek if your rank is good u can get the college.Be confident in the interview.

Night Life

3

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
