- Music club , being a part of it , it actually makes life fun at campus.
- I like my subject and degree a lot , especially the teaching style that is more practical inclined.
- Faculty and libraries are amazing, teachers are really interested in teaching and it makes it really nice to be invested in studied like that .
Dislikes
- Crowd , as it is a science college only, there is less crowd, therefore less exposure.
- The college focuses a lot more on studies than extracurricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
• Food technology is one of the sectors which will never run out of jobs and business scopes . It is widely demanded today,given people are getting more health cautious as we speak . • the faculty: student ratio is 1on 60 in theory classes and 1:30 in practicals . • most teachers are PhD scholars , i personally love the more practical knowledge inclined teaching style of the teachers here . • first semester was around 3 months , the exams were held soon after , they were not very difficult but basic knowledge and hold on subject is required.
Fees and Financial Aid
• There is definitely fees hike from previous years but 26000 an year that is the fees currently, I guess is fine. • there are no job on campus opportunities as of now because students prefer to go for higher studies after , there are opportunities in exhibitions held by the college , depends on the students capabilities and communication skills If he/she can make connections and grab opportunities.
Campus Life
• there is an annual fest conducted around January end or February starting. • Library at the college is big , it is a 3 story Library with plenty books and resources and even provides space to study in the quiet for around 150 students at once. • as it is an applied sciences College we have labs more than lecture rooms , we tend to learn more practically than theory classes. There are lecture halls with elevations on steps with seating of around 200-250 students at once , and are normal classroom halls with seating of around 150 students at once . • There are huge grounds , cricket court , 3 badminton courts , table tennis room , basketball court, food ball court , there are plenty inter college and intra college compitions held throughout the year. • there are music club ( moksha) , dance club (rage ) , drama (darpan) , photography (clickarti), art club , debate club (confianza) , poetry club , sports club, yoga club. Each club has their own Instagram page.
Admission
• Eligibility: 12 th standard aggregate of 50% for unreserved and 45% for sc / st candidates from a recognised board. • Application form , fees and dates were all in the official du website www.du.ac.in • reserved benifits were , lease on the entrance exam, cuet fees and a little lesser cutt off • The addmission process is well explained on the official portal
