The infrastructure of the classrooms were superb
The sports facilities were too good to even dream of

The coding culture among students making it too stressful for other intrested people
The drug culture and the alchoholism in the hostels
The professors were too cocky sometimes to even pass the examinations

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course coz I could get only this branch in the college for my rank. There are 2 semesters for every year. And every semester has mid term and enter examinations with practicals going on in between.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

The 7th semester students of 4 year course are eligible for the placements. The highest package offered is around 2 crore while the average package is around 10 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get a job that's it

Fees and Financial Aid

We could get scholarships right from the beginning which were offered by many instututions as reliance, ffe etc. Coming to the financial assistance students whose family's income is low get tution fee waivers accordingly

Campus Life

The annual fest for our college is Thomso and the tech fest is Cognizance. Thomso is conducted in the second week of October while Cognizance in March. There are many top notch sports facilities in the campus

Hostel Facilities

Well the hostels or the mess eminities are too old. Any building you touch in the campus cpuld could be atleast 70 years old, Though some new hostels were under construction. The food provided was too bad to even digest the next day

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I have given JEE ADVANCED. The entire admission process is through JOSAA counselling. You have to follow the necessary instructions given by JOSAA to get an appropriate college for your rank. original documents has to be subitted during this process

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
