Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is according to the course. As engineering is considered to be one of the toughest course, the course is accordingly. They take us to lab 3 days a week. Their teaching methods is not too complex. They teach us in simpler way.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise we need to pay around 1.2 lak. But in the 1st year it was more around 1.5L. in the beginning they took 10k for registration or seat confirmation. Then after semester wise fees were taken. Else there is no extra exam registration fee. They give scholarship on the basis of 12th percentage at the time of admission.

Campus Life

4

During annual function, sports meet is conducted, usually during the month of April. Then tech fest is also conducted. Library has a variety books. Whether it is of course or for competitive exams. Yeah! Library has the books that cover the competitive exams. It also contains journals, newspaper on regular basis. Every classroom has a projector. Faculties teach us through this. Also they give us presentations. Many sports like basketball, football and basketball is played. Other games like cricket, badminton, etc are also played. A tech group is there. It is related to coding. Its is ran by students.

Admission

I decided to take admission in Noida Delhi side. As they're known for colleges. I did apply to some colleges too. Got calls from there also. I filled out the registration form. But then I got to know about haridwar university. It's in uttarakhand. So I feel that this is better that city side. Coz I like to be in nature and this place is accordingly. There is no such examination for admission. They take admission on the basis of 12th marks. You should ve 60% or above for the admission.

Faculty

5

There are sufficient faculties present here. Their connection with the students is also good. All faculties are best at their place. They're supportive and helping. There are 2 mid terms and then semester exams. Else than this , class tests are taken per subject. The exams are like moderate. If you'll study, it would be good.

Night Life

4

Well, firstly students are not allowed to out from campus after 8 pm. They can move in the campus till 9 pm. There is gym and cafeteria Also. Coming to hostel, we have a clean and safe environment in the hostel. Mess food is okay okay. Like they offer good food. There is ground where mostly students study or hangout with their gf/bf ????????. See, it's a jungle like area. We've a Ganga canal infront of the college. And at the back it's jungle. So I don't think it's safe at night.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.
