Likes
- The campus life is really entertaining.. college has a huge campus area of more than 75 acre as well as the lush green environment gives it a heavenly look...the infrastructure is really good and the classes are well managed..
- Placement are quite well in the college starting from 5lpa to 15lpa depending upon students skills.. company visits the campus during placement and internship time.. the training and placement cell of the college is very active.
- The course curriculum is not that tough and rigorous.. one can easily pass the exams by referring teachers notes.. as the teachers are really supportive and helps to cope up with every disruption faced by thier students.
Dislikes
- The college should consist of additional subjects that will boost the skills of the students that is used in IT. Sector such as a Mastery over development and dsa that help the students to grab a good placement.
- The college should focus on the connection with the alumni that could help the students to make good relationship with their seniors that would help them to take better opportunities and exposure of the IT sector.
- The College mess food is not tasty and healthy.. college should pay better attention on hygiene and quality of the ingredients that would make the food healthy and worth eating. The cleanliness should be kept in mind..
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not that hectic.. the syllabus is not vast and can be easily tackled within the time.. the curriculum is based on latest trends of IT . But some subjects need to be included like AI and future trends skills that would help the students to grow themselves upto the expectation of their fields.
Placement Experience
The placements of the students in the college is satisfactory. This year the students of third year grabbed a placement of 18 LPA . Wipro and TCS visits the campus frequently. The highest package is of 43 LPA and the average stands at 6-7 LPA.. the percentage of the placements is nearly 90-95%..
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees taken by the college is semester wise.. the semester fees for btech is 85000.. and the yearly fees or the annual fees is 1,70,000.. there is no scholarship for any caste related reservation like sc st..
Campus Life
The campus life is really enjoyable here.. many fests are conducted in a year.. Zion is the greatest fest of our college which is a three days event that contain Bhangra night , DJ night and a star night.. last time , punjabi singer gurnaam bullar visited our college at the time of fest.. the club's are really supportive and the facilities and the motivation provided is quite well..
Admission
I chose this college because the overall placement of the college was quite good.. The colleges that I thought of applying was quantum university but I chose COER over quantum because it provide better faculties, exposure and placement.
Faculty
The faculty are really good and most of them are phd holders. The faculty to student ratio is roughly 1:10. The faculties maintain a freindly relation with students and are easily approachable.. My favourite teacher is Ms Anita singh, she is really supportive and helps me and other students any time with their projects. Exams are held every semester.. exams are not that tough and many of the students clear the exams easily.
Night Life
The night life is a bit boring.. the time constraints of the college during the night is quite strict.. despite of it.. late night canteenz are still a boon for many students.. the students can hang in the campus during the night.. which is a peace of mind for many tiring brains..
