Geu provides best intenrships!

Well, the aspect of the course which made me chose CSE is definitely the urge to be a techie. Our course provides us all the resources such as Python, and all programming languages to become a coding expert. Also, AI is also a part of our course and thus all things that a techie should know we become well versed by all by the end of 3 years.

Many like coding companies which have their based on metros are the ones which offers Internships as they send their requirements to the university. University then handpicks them all and send the best students for the same at a stipend of 30k or more.

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

CSE i one wants to pursue from Dehradun then GEU is the place to do. Thus, I took admission here in 2024 and fees I paid was around 2.5 lakhs per semester. There was admission form and registration charges of 40k. This year also fees has stayed the same but those charges were taken just once. Apart from this project and exam fees has to be paid by students.

GEU is known for hosting big events as many big celebrities have shown their presence at our university. This happens every year as GEU spends a lot for its annual fest GRAFEST. It's an event which makes noises not just in Dehradun but far off too. Infrastructure is also good as we have every facility which somebody wants during their college life.

No rejection as GEU was my choice of College. I though gave that just for fun as it was decided long back that I will take admission in GEU. So, GEU top has its entrance but direct admission are also there if someone don't want any scholarship or anything. I was one of those and happy to have done it that way as took me just a couple of hours to get admission done.

Students bond with almost all the faculties is great as faculties in my case have taken the move themselves. They crack jokes and makes every student comfortable around them. Every problem we asked them is solved upfront and even if we interrupt them in the middle of the lecture, they are never terrified but solve our problem first.

I don't stay at the hostels as there are three boys hostels and all are off campus. All are good but with a strict intime of 9 pm. However with due permission one can take night outs and hang at many nearby places like Rishikesh is just 40 kms and Mussorie the queen of hills is also just 30 kms from our college.
