GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

The only thing that stayed with me so far has been the coding knowledge as we have coding courses seperately and even societies that backs that. AI is still little far but for those who want to become a coding expert, i think our university has the best facilities to learn them and the best faculties to make us learn that.

Ecodes, Cheat Codes and likewise many coding companies as mentioned that our course makes us expert in that domain and hence we are sent for intenrships in such companies and that is the role offered to us and the stipend offered is 30 thousand or so.

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Fees is 5.05 lakhs but I got 5% scholarship as my PCM aggregate was over 85%. One of friends got siblings scholarships as his sister was already studying here, so he got 10% scholarship. SC/ST students or the students who are from Dehradun or Uttarakhand get 10% scholarship too. Besides that too there are many and whole counselling the counsellor first explains each of th scholarship which is available for students to grab.

Students run social groups are plenty as dance society, singing society and even quiz and tech society are plenty here. So campus life is not just the classes but after hours at GEU campus is what makes it super exciting. Sports ground is used for football and also events are hosted there. Our main event is GRAFEST which is a three day annual cultural event of the college.

I applied at LPU, SIT and DTU and had confirmed admission from everywhete and still i chose to stay with GEU as I saw placements in 2023-24 season and they were mind blowing. Around 2000 students of tech field were placed from the campus and that made me take admission here without giving any other thoughts or ideas in my mind.

Our faculties are amazing as they use PPT and make sure technology takes full circle at the classes. It's a great setup and faculties have made sure that the setup be it smart classes or the modern labs, we get first hand knowledge from that and our journey of tech should begin with classrooms. Exams are tough here and therefore around 2 out of 10 students in each semester fail to clear the exams.

There are many things around the campus and in our campus too we have gym and cafeterias. However, since i don't feel it worth it, we mostly go to Street food cafes which are there in abundance near our university.
