GEU is a craft University!

A thousand problems but our faculties comes up with all the answers. Since our course in olbes practical training, we are taken to pure avaition institute as there are plenty in Dehradun. Also our course involves learning with HAL and DRDO and some others, so we learn from the best of best. Thus, like our faculties, our course is also a GOAT.

I can name some companies with whom our college does have made tie-ups but since none has been placed as we will be the first one to be placed, it would be inappropriate to answer this question. Still, ISRO to DRDO are the organisations for which our course is Inclined.

Aeronautics in BSc is offered by GEU at 2.74 lakhs per year. The fees is definitely high but our course too is unique as it involves a lot of practicals and fees is definitely rightly charged. Besides the course fees there's university hostel fees too and that is close to 2 lakhs per year and both hostel and university course fees are paid in two tranche.

Our annual tech fest is perhaps as good as what top engineering colleges presents. Even Aeronautics students get participation here as drone and shooting was handled by our department. Our university is also organizing cultural fest named GRAFEST again one of the biggest fest. Infrastructure and area wise definitely not the biggest but still big enough to host over 12000 students who are studying here.

Hostel is fair as students here get same treatment irrespective of room they choose. AC and Non AC rooms are there. The dining area though is air-conditioned and rooms have heaters and geezers as well. The hostels are good but only if curfew time is lifted to atleast 9 pm.

I applied at UPES University, Dehradun as they have one of the best aeronautical engineering program. However with BSC in Aeronautics, GEU has changed the game as same course with more practical knowledge in just 3 years. Entry too is quite as you need to have just 50% or more in science stream and you get admission here.

Our classes and building in which our classes are held is shared but definitely not our faculties. They are a true testimonials of how Aeronautics faculties should be. Deep in knowledge and high in experience and that's what makes them the GOAT. In short if you aren't a GOAT, you are not admissible in GEU to teach.

Firstly it's the ISBT as because of that, we easily get the bus to reach wherever we want to. Not just in Dehradun but places like Haridwar, Chakrata, Roorkee and Mussoorie are also easily accessible due to ISBT. So as and when we get time we do hangout at one such particular place.
