Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I had taken electronics and communication, but I wasn't really passionate about this course as my aim was to study computers but the fee structure for computers was very high. therefore I had to take EC as I was told there would be both IT and core job opportunities. the faculties are very friendly and approachable. our HOD was very friendly too. most teachers have completed their Ph.D. we had 3 internals of 25 marks each and 2 assignments of 10 marks each. the internals are quite easy to clear.

Placement Experience

3.5

students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. there are many companies that visit, to name a few, TCS, cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, etc. Other Japanese companies visit too. the highest package was around 15LPA. The average package is around 4LPA. the placement rates are quite high in the college. The HR team makes sure most students are placed. my plan after getting the degree is to start working.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had to pay 2.3Lakhs per year for management seats, this was way before CET results were out. after the CET results were out the fees were increased. apart from fees, there are a lot of other small fees that have to be paid. they do provide scholarships. I got placed for a tech support role, but the placement rates are pretty high in the college.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is Sangam, it's a huge fest, they do have a DJ night and a lot of events. They do have another inter-collegiate fest called Initium. The library is well maintained, I have never had an experience of not finding a book I needed. they do have journals. the classrooms are good too, medium-sized classrooms enough for the number of students in each class. we have good sports facilities, there is a volleyball court, a ground, an indoor and outdoor basketball court and an indoor play area for indoor games like carrom, table tennis, and chess. there is a gym too. there are multiple clubs for different kinds of extracurricular activities.

Admission

I took a management seat, and as I blocked the seats before the CET results, the fees were i.e. there was the donation fees were less. there was no such entrance exam. the eligibility was 12th results should be above 65%. The admission process overall is very smooth. There are reservation benefits in the college. I didn't find any application form online but the dates will be put up on the official college website. I had enquired in person instead of doing anything online. most of the details about the admission process are posted on their official website.

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
