Campus Sanitation - In college campus staff and students maintain the decorum of sanitation.
Sports Spirit - ANDC Cricket team spirit for there sports is awsome.
Faculty - First think is faculty which I like Most in ANDC, they always understand your problems and issues.

Dislikes

Fest Entry - According to me most i dislike in this college is you can't invite your other college friend in your college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty member is nice, and they all are friendly in nature, Mrs. Surinder Kaur Mam HOD of the Commerce department is very nice and all the other faculty members, are well qualified. Student ratio in Bcom(Hons.) The course is a 60:40 ratio. Seniors are always ready to help their juniors. Semester Papers mostly occur at the same time as Delhi University's other colleges.

Placement Experience

Placement Cell is not very active compared to other colleges. But here you get placements for the Science department. Eligible for Placements are 5th Semester. An Average package of Placement is 3.60 L per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is fair and good according to me because with the course fees they provide good enough facilities in the college. Colleges have their own Scholarship Schemes, they are always there for help with financial assistance, College Placement is not more active, mostly you have to try placements from off campus.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good, All basic sanitary facilities are there available. Mostly all fests happen but only one issue is there on the college campus you cannot call your other college friends for enjoyment fest is only for their students. All Books are available for your courses. Sports facilities are awesome here, you get all the opportunities to show your own talent.

Admission

Eligibility Of course is candidate must pass the 12th Class, After that Go through the CUET Exam. After your result, you have to fill out your preference sheet on the Delhi university website. After all phases you allot one college you have to accept the allocation as per the Delhi University guidelines. After that, you can upgrade in the next round if you score well enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
