Since attendance isn't an issue, you can figure out ample amount of time for other activities.
Teachers are mostly very helpful and qualified

Infrastructure isn't upto my expectations

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching faculty seems qualified and they are good enough. It's hard to find good professors but that's not the case here. You can find top-quality teachers in almost all the colleges of the University of Delhi.

Class Size: 157Course Fees: INR 11225 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies which come in to provide internship opportunities. The placement cell is active and brings in a good amount of opportunities for everyone. Some of the biggest companies also hire from KMC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very low compared to some of the private colleges. It's around 10-20k on an average which is quite feasible for everyone. I don't know much about the financial assistance policies of the government.

Campus Life

The annual fest hasn't been conducted yet but there are multiple events hosted by several societies throughout the year. These events include several competitions and speaker sessions as well. Books are somewhat outdated in the library but they are in a good amount.

Admission

I got my admission through the Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET - UG conducted by NTA. The selection procedure varies from course to course, for B.Com. it was the combination of the 3 subjects you scored highest in along with English. You can find the forms as and when released by NTA.

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . My journey at Kirori Mal college

Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds ....Read More

My Experience at KMC

I applied to ipmat program of iim indore which is a tough exam as it offers ba+mba in iim indore and pursuing mba from iim indore is one of the best thing that a student can pursue, i cleared cutoff of short answer and mcqs but couldnt clear the cutoff of english which is surprising for me also, A student have to appear for cuet examination and clear the cutoff in order to get admission in KMC, cutoff for general was around 740 in first round for mathematics honours and exams accepted was english, maths and 2 other domain subject...Read More
