Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen this course because I'm in interested in statistics and data analysis and we do have more packages in this fields. Our faculty are so good.They teach us very well and the student ratio is more as this is a central university of Pondicherry.Monthly they takes exams.Amd we have semister exam after 4 months.Its difficult to pass but if we study well and attend the class we can pass.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

Pondicherry University has separate placement cell that conducts placement operations for students.placement cell is to motivate,train and prepare the students of the university and campus interviews.Its affiliated colleges for their successful career placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for 1st year 5 year integrated M.Sc.Statistics is 26000. There will be Merit scholarship, University fellowship for PhD students,Merit-cum means scholership,Indragandhi scholership for single girl child,Rajiv Gandhi national fellowship,GATE scholership,Govt of India sc/st/obc scholership.

Campus Life

The campus of the university houses a chain of hostels for boys and girls.Hostels provide a congenial residential atmosphere for the academic activities of the students.There will be health centre, reading hall,play grounds,canteen, shopping complex,gym,NCC and nss,bank,green campus.And there will be many fests like onam, Pondicherry heritage fest.Maths club will be there..etc

Hostel Facilities

For the mobility of the students from hostels to dept,library, computer centre,etc..,bus facilities provided in the campus with buses.there are twenty two hostels in which 14 are for boys and eight are for girls.Foreign student hostels the university has air conditionedand non acrooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 33500 per year

Admission

Eligibility for doing bsc statistics+ MSc statistics in central university of Pondicherry is to clear CUET entrance conducted by nta and get passing 12th with more than 55% marks and should have majors in maths, physics and chemistry. We find the application form, application fees and application dated in official website of CUET entrance.

"Pondi is the best"

Placement Experience:

Among the ten semesters of the complete course after 4th year (7-8 semester) we are eligible for campus placements. The average package for students from company is almost 5 lakh per annum. 10 percentage among the students are only getting placements. After completing degree and post graduation I want to increase my teaching skills and want to move forward based on that.

-In my course there is so many opportunities in abroad and final year was salary for us -in curiculam has less number of holidays that should change -The frequency is at around 3 to 4 month and have 3 IA and exam timing is 90 minute.The exam is a medium level .
