Likes

Good students , who are good in study and etiquette.
The new hostel canteen is a good place with all kind of foods.
The societies and clubs get decent amount of funds.

Dislikes

There should be ACs in the classroom and more lights.
The sports Complex should be renovated, including the basketball court.
The college spends a lot on Staff Room. Should spend more on students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because many of my family members had done their graduation in the same. The faculties are highly qualified with most of them having PhDs. In my course, there is one teacher for 150 students for each subject. Exams are conducted approximately every 5 months and they are not very hard to pass.

Internships Opportunities

I personally have not applied for any internships yet. However, my seniors have told me that students get good opportunities if they are strong in academics. They get internships from companies like TCS with a monthly stipend of approx 10 - 15k.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees are very nominal. For example, I paid 12000 rupees for my second year. The fees are slightly higher for practical courses. There are also many scholarships like the Income cum merit-based scholarships. You can also get internships in your 3rd year.

Campus Life

But there are various annual fests of the societies and clubs. The library is all good with ACs and reading rooms. Books are available. The classrooms have good benches and fans. The college has a satisfactory sports infra with a gym and sports ground. There are various active clubs like NCC, and NSS.

Admission

The admission process was good. Well, the admission was based on CUET, which was being conducted for the first time. So I guess the University of Delhi and Samarth did a good job. U can find the application form on the CUET Samarth website. There you can also choose the universities and the courses that you are interested in. After the exam is conducted you have to register individually on the respective university websites. If you have a good score in the demanded subjects, you will get the admission. For example, in my course which is BCom the combination of English, one best domain, and General tests were taken into account. So I guess everything was quite satisfactory.

Placement Experience:

A Balanced College Experience with Supportive Faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . My journey at Kirori Mal college

Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . My Experience at KMC

I applied to ipmat program of iim indore which is a tough exam as it offers ba+mba in iim indore and pursuing mba from iim indore is one of the best thing that a student can pursue, i cleared cutoff of short answer and mcqs but couldnt clear the cutoff of english which is surprising for me also, A student have to appear for cuet examination and clear the cutoff in order to get admission in KMC, cutoff for general was around 740 in first round for mathematics honours and exams accepted was english, maths and 2 other domain subject...Read More
