I Selected ECE for the study of semiconductors and microprocessors. class strength is 30 The Ph.D. professors are there and very helpful in any doubt or problem. term exam was moderate and one can pass it if he wants.

Best on your CGPA you can be selected by many top companies for internship like DRDO PS you can also get an internship in some of the IITs or an it is for their particular or NSP project it totally depends on your GPS for annual talent but there is also sum of the project that return inside the call college with which is funded by the state government as well as Central Government you can also take bath in this projects

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is approx 33 thousand per semester including the hostel. for four years it will be 3.1 lakh. a fee waiver is also provided for some of the students. the training and placement cell also helps the student get internships and scholarships some of the scholarships are Swaraj and Reliance financials they provide scholarships and financial support to the students.

Campus Life

It has 450 acre campus a very green campus is there. The main menu take face also happened some of them are Madhuram take fest and many more cultural take face also occur students take part in them there are many clubs also some of them are technical warehouse some of them are cultural.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good there are total of 10 hostels for boys and 6 for girls the semester fee for hostel is 4000 3 students for first year will be there in hostel after 3rd year single provided for each student registration facility is very easy and the miss miss charge is rupees 90 per day.

Hostel Fee: INR 8000 per year

Admission

Admission is done through JOSAA and CSAB. One has to be under 1 lakh rank in jee. For computer science rank must be inside 70k. For electronics and communication rank should be 1 lakh. for mechanical it should be within 1.2 lakh.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

I love my collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
