Environment and overall atmosphere of the college.
It is away from city area which makes it way better than colleges located near highways.

Campus is quite small, also we didn't have any alternative place to gossip with 10 friends group rather than central library.

As I'm more interested in technology, so did I opted for this course. The student ratio is quite good, Faculty members are well educated and friendly too. Till now I haven't appeared for any kind of exams as I'm a fresher.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about this topic. But I have talked to many of our seniors and from them I inferred that they do get intership opportunities soon as they enter either the 5th or 6th semester. Interships are offered by well-known MNC giants.

Placement Experience

A student becomes eligible for placements when he/she enters the 7th semester or the end of the 6th semester. Many companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE, etc. do visit our campus and pick a good number of students. The average is around 6LPA. Around 90% of students get placed and the remaining opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's been a good hike in to cost of study as compared to the previous 2 years. I haven't applied for any type of scholarship till now. 1st-year course fee: 96500+81500 2nd-year course fee: 73500+73500 3rd-year course fee: 74500+74500 4th-year course fee: 75500+75500

Campus Life

There are more than 10 clubs run and managed by seniors. Central Library is decent, where you will find all your course-related books. Sports events like INFINITO are being held in our college, where students from different colleges come and compete for the best.

Admission

Admission Process: NSEC ccepts JEE Main, and WBJEE scores for admission to B.tech programs. Candidates have to appear for counselling purposes. And admission in M.Tech programs is based on GATE score. Overall, NSEC is a good option for students who are looking for quality engineering education.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
