Remarks

My college journey was amazing with a lot of happy memories and fun starting from classroom and expanding to extra curiculars with society visits as well as outbound trips.

Entrance Preview

I did not give any entrance exam, i was selected in this college throught merit list on the basis of my 12th class board examination marks. The best 4 of the subjects were chosen to get a percentage which fell in the merit list or cut off list issued by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is both complex and simple in the sense that you have to study only 4 subjects per semester but you have the right to choose from so many options provided by the college and Delhi University. The teachers have immense knowledge and we are encouraged to do case studies and research papers along with class presentations and project work.

Internships Opportunities

The college placement cell, avenues provides the students the opportunity of internships from the first year itself and it conducts internship fairs twice a year for all the students. General stipend ranges from 2000 to 15000.

Placement Experience

5

The placement cell also provides placement to the final year students and the process happens twice in the final year. The big 4 and fortune 500 companies visit the college campus for recruitment such as deloitte and ernest and young. The stipend varies from 3 lacs to 16 lacs p.a.

College Events

5

Various events happen in the college around the year starting with election season followed by mid sem events conducted by all societies such as Diwali meals and mock stocks. After the end of the first semester and vacation, college reopens with the fest season where college celebrates the founders day followed by college annual fest and societies fests and then farewell and graduation night for final year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasibly from only 5000-10000 per years for every course. Fee reduction is also available accordung to the reservation quota and scholarships. My college fee for complete 3 years is 27000. This may vary according the university guidelines and management decisions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides fee reduction and scholarships to deserving students on the merit as well as economic basis.

Campus Life

4

The campus life at delhi university north campus is worth living with all kinds of activites available. You can even ride bicycles free of charge and enjoy all the fests apart from your own college. All kinds of students can mix up in this atmosphere and opportunities are aplenty.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is available only for boys and not for girls. As i have not experienced i cannot comment. The college canteen provides good food at very minimal price and also a good variety. Pg rentals vary anywhere from 12000 to 20000 according the location and amneties provided neartby college premises.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni group is very helpful and is at amazing positions such as mr. amitabh bachchan and kulbhushan kharbanda. The alumni association also contributes to the college auditorium fund which is recently being renovated.

Exam Structure

The exams occur twice a year which is 6 semesters in 3 years. The schedule is pretty relaxed with prepratory holidays and convenient examination slots. The exam is conducted under the guidelines of delhi university. It gives ample time and relax to prepare well for exams.

Admission

I did not give any entrance exam, i was selected in this college throught merit list on the basis of my 12th class board examination marks. The best 4 of the subjects were chosen to get a percentage which fell in the merit list or cut off list issued by the college.

Faculty

4

Highly qualified and encouraging professors mentor us with the immense knowledge they have in both in and outside the classroom. All the professors are very amiable and motivate the students even in extra-curicular activities. The teachers are also available for after class tutorials.

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
