The management system in the college is up to date after a fixed period.
The hostel facilities in the college is very nice .
The professor in the college is very nice .

The bathroom condition in the hostel is not good .

Course Curriculum Overview

This course was interesting to me. Every course has three faculty to a whole batch of 120. Every teacher has phd in their respective fields. The teaching method is adequate for student learning in classrooms.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are very good in our college. In 3rd year most of the students get internships in their fields. And the stipend depends on the companies. The company like Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc provide internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very affordable. And the scholarship opportunities are also provided. And also provide financial assistance to students who need help. And the campus jobs are also provided.

Campus Life

The campus life is very nice and enjoyable and learnable to the campus students and most of the books are always available in the library. And the club in every field are available and it is very beneficial for all in many fields.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very good in every field the facilities are provided in the room in very good condition room and 1 bed, 1 table,1 chair and an almirah in the room. The registration process is very easy first fill out the registration form and then submit it to the clerk's office.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission is hard on the exam jee main. The home state for Punjab students is beneficial. The application process was so easy. The cut-off for the mechanical branch was closed at 10000 for general and other state students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

NIT JALANDHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
