Nit jalandhar campus life is very good . Faculty members are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I like to become an engineer. I like mechanical engineering. In my class 114 students present, 25 teachers available. The teaching methods of faculty is quite good. The exam has been conduct on time.

Internships Opportunities

Nit jalandhar give very decent internship opportunity. Many companies visit nit jalandhar campus for internship like Microsoft, Infosys, Google, tata motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, TCS , BPCL, HCl etc.

Placement Experience

In 7th semester students are eligible for college placement. Many companies visit in college and give offer. Highest package 50 lac And average package 12 lac 85 percent students placed . Got decent job

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute fees is 62000 per semester and the hostel fees is 25000 per semester. Many scholarship provided by the college and alumni network . Our college provide internship opportunity and campus placement.

Campus Life

The cultural fest is the biggest fest in nit jalandhar. The utkansh is the cultural fest . It held on 22-25 March every year. Very big library it has around 1lac books. The classroom are fully furnished and air-conditioning.

Hostel Facilities

Four members in a room . The hostels are clean. Mess food is very good and higenic. The hostel are affordable. Registration process of hostel is good. Comman washroom are provided. Water cooler are available in hostel

Admission

Yes we need some improvement in addmission process. The college should mentioned clearly about needful documents. clear about the fee structure and infrastructure. The admission process of Nit is very good

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
