Campus Placement is great in IIIT Allahabad with an average package of 20 lpa for mtech and 30 Lpa for btech almost every big company visited the college for the placement. highest package is 1.25 cr for Btech and 65 lpa for mtech.

The cost to the student is approximately 5 lakh for two years. Scholarship is for students who have a family income of less than 4.5 lakh and there are various scholarships provided by the state and central government.

Campus life is great in IIITA. Effervescence is the Annual fest that happens every year. Many coding competitions are held. Cultural activities are also there in the college. Almost every festival is celebrated in the college like Ganesh Chaturthi, garba night etc. The classroom is well equipped with the facilities and AC. Every sport is there in the college.

The admission process was based on the Gate exam for the Mtech program, Different categories have different gate scores as a cut for admission, a Gate score above 500 is the safe score to get admission to the college. Admission is conducted through ccmt with 3 regular rounds followed by 2 special rounds in the last 1 National spot round. Reservation is for the student whose family income is less than 450000
