Remarks

Excellent faculty, infrastructure and management make it one of the best colleges of University of Delhi.

Entrance Preview

The admission to all BSC (H) courses is based on CBSE board merit. However, one can always check the Delhi University as well as college's website for any change (if made)

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is hectic as of now (CBCS batch). The syllabus has seen a drastic change since the regular semester batch. It has been huge to be covered in a matter of merely five to six months. But it is to be revised this year, so let's see if it would be a relief to the students.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, college provides with really good internships and projects. These may be unpaid or may come with stipend. Students did certain projects (a year long) for which they got 12k.

Placement Experience

2.5

There have been no placements for any course this year. However, last year (FYUP batch of University of Delhi) saw good placements. Companies had came up for the placement of various courses. Btech. Computer Science aas well as Btech. Electronics saw good placements.

College Events

4.5

There are 13 departments in the College and each one organizes own departmental fest once a year. These fests are greatly improving every year. There are a lot of activities that range from games to knowledgeable lectures by eminent personalities. The annual fest of the College is KARVAAN. It has seen tremendous improvement over past 3 years. Celebrities like Hardy Sandhu, Jassi Gill, Babbal Rai and Akhil have been the stars for the starnight that is organised on the second day of fest. Diwali Mela is indeed a feast.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure depends upon the course chosen. It is given on college's website for each course. I consider it feasible and the ones with weak financial background can easily avail scholarship that can go upto 100% as well. Note that one has to submit the fees during admission. Scholarship process takes place afterwards. Whatsoever amount is waived off from the fee is sent to one's bank account.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students avail scholarship based on their family income. The percentage of scholarship given depends upon financial conditions (wherein an affidavit of annual income is required to be submitted). Students do get 100% scholarship as well to waive off the college fee.

Campus Life

4.5

It is actually an excellently good place to be at for the ones who want good education with enormous extracurricular activities. There are many societies viz.- dance society, singing society, literary society, art society, drama society, eco club, robotics club. Since it is a "Girl's College", the only males you'll encounter with would be some professors or laboratory technicians. But yes, there are a lot many of them during annual college fest, departmental fests and many more events like Diwali Mela. Labs are well equipped. Althrough the year, there are countless number of competitions for dance, singing, writing.. anything and everything one can think of with monetary prices.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel and mess facilities are decent. You've to stick to the timings, they're very particular about that. Also, there incinerators to do off with the sanitary napkins. Geysers are functional fitting the winters. Also, there are solar power panels to supplement the electricity in the hostel premises. However, the accomodation is given on the basis of distance of one's home from the college. Students from Faridabad, Gurgaon etc. Couldn't get it last year due to shortage of beds.

Alumni/Alumna

Most of them from biomedical sciences background always advice not to go for a job after graduation and study until PHD. However, I feel that it is a very personal decision. You should surely listen to their experiences but ultimately carve your decisions as per your own plans.

Exam Structure

Exam structure has been a bit hectic since the CBCS system had come up. However, the syllabus is to be revised for many courses which might turn out to be a relief. As of now, syllabus was voluminous to be covered in five or six months. But exam structure if fairly good. The gaps between Exams are sufficient to fair well.

Admission

The admission to all BSC (H) courses is based on CBSE board merit. Admission form is released after CBSE announces class 12 results. You need to fill the form online on DU's website. Then come cut off lists which set up the marks for admission into courses in various colleges. Admission to BMS, BFIA us subject to entrance exam.

Faculty

4.5

Excellent faculty. Every faculty member is always ready to help students. They are highly qualified and have a command over the subjects they teach. One of the finest teachers of the country can be seen here. Most of the professors have done PHD in their respective fields.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
