Likes
- Campus Life is good. Placements are really good if you hardly for yourself you will get placed in a good company . There is no mandatory of college uniform we only have to wear college uniform in semester exams
- Attendance is not mandatory.College bring many companies some are very known ones . Faculty of our college is very good.
- Fest , campus Life and many more if you are more than kind of an all-rounder kind of a person you would like this college.
Dislikes
- Campus is too small . College doesn't have its own hostel so many of them have to stay in pg which charge a lot.
- Sometimes college doesn't send internal marks where students get into trouble.
- Fighting are very much in college and groupings are very much so study and go home.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our department is one of the oldest departments many professors are industry-experienced and majorly of them are PhD holders. They guide us when we need help. The ratio of student and teacher are quite good which helps us to ask doubts very easily. Teachers are there always readily to help us. Some subjects in our department are really easy but some are a little tough so it depends upon you how you study the subjects. Food technology when u opt the main thing is you have to fall in love with chemistry.
Internships Opportunities
Britannia, ITC, Taj stats, amul, kingfisher breweries, allied breweries, diamond beverages, haldiram, dabur. They provide no stipend. They provide one month's internship on the plant. The project is the 8th semester part in which no exam has taken place and we have to submit the training project.
Placement Experience
7th semester from where students can sit for companies. More than 30 food core companies came for college and many IT companies also. 30 or more of them placed in the core such as ITC, modern, Bengal beverages, and haldiram. And many of them got placed in IT-based companies such as Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Zifo, and DHL. Almost 87 % of students were placed. After my degree completion would opt for a food company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Swami Vivekananda scholarship I got with the help of the college provided by our state. Fees of the college gradually increase every year this year is 625000. TFW quota is also available in our college. The internship is provided by our college many of them got an internship in Britannia, ITC, and Taj stats.
Campus Life
There are majorly 6 clubs in our college. One for sports, cultural, technical, education, literary, and social work. Every department has its own fest Mechanical, civil, and food technology and many branches have their own ones. Filantropia is one of the biggest social festivals in Asia. Edge one of the fest of the technical part. Samaritans is a social club that organizes many events for social service such as blood donation, relief camps, collection drives, etc.
Admission
No the admission process of our college is great as it provides nice faculty who would help you out when need help. Many scholarships are also sanctioned through college very easily. Overall the college is quite good.
