The campus is really huge and green, 2100 acres of campus.
The seniors here are very supportive and friendly.

Dislikes

Campus is far from main city and is in a rural place.
Things are a ittle overpriced here as compared to other places.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was updated in 2020, so the syllabus is the latest. I chose this course because this was the best course I was getting through my JEE rank. Faculties are average, though some of them are really good but they are rare. Exams are moderate, and easy relative to JEE advanced.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester are around 1.5 lakhs, so per year the fees are around 3 lakhs for general and OBC candidates. For SC/ST candidates the tution fee is not applicable so they have to pay 1 lakh less per semester.

Campus Life

We have our annual tech fest - Kshitij and Socult fest - Spring fest around January. We have a central library with lots of books available both physically and digitally. Classrooms are large, having AC ducts.

Admission

JEE Advanced qualified candidates can apply for this course through JoSAA. To qualify for JEE advanced candidates must qualify for JEE mains. For general candidates, the cut-off for JEE mains is around 88 percentile, which is easy to score.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Clg Review

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
