Remarks

According to me college is good but management is not developing the labs instrument, when we worked in electrical lab we have to work 15 student for one instrument so this is one kind of bad thing. and one more bad thing this is we got very little help f

Entrance Preview

WBJEE, i got rank 8282 in JEE in the year 2011, and i want to study in ELECTRICAL, according to my rank this college was the best and luckly i got this one.

Course Curriculum Overview

Subject was not so easy, we got helped from faculty, and finally passed from college and learn lots of thing.

Internships Opportunities

lots of company came during our campusing, mainly TCS, wipro, praxis, ciments, L & T, IBM and many more.

Placement Experience

Not so good but i think those who deserves they got placed in electrical it was 40%, but overall from college it was 60%.

College Events

Take fest which is really interesting and enjoying is holds every year and just like others colleges our college also held normal FEST and we all enjoy a lot in there and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel fees 5000/ i think it cheap in hostel food is good, also security is hing. no problem in there and if u want mess then i think 4500 would be enough, 1500 room fees, and remaining for ur foods and pocket money.

Fees and Financial Aid

I never applied for scholarships, but many friend i know they got many scholarship from our college.

Campus Life

No parties are include in our college even now no ragging and workshop is also good no playground are there this is the only bad thing Labs are also very good.

Alumni/Alumna

From the first i went to the college i was a little bit fear but when senior came in our classroom they were chill, just like our friend, and even later we got many many help from them from study to robotics.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
