Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty are outstanding and very qualified and have excellent experience in the field of work what they are doing and was having a very good in this also in subject and they know all things about the way to teach.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are not good in our college. Since this is a bachelor's degree college placement drives and internships are not much evolved here. Some companies are coming like TCS, TATA, INFOSYS, ETC.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were various scholarship opportunities available as per the government policy. Some of the scholarships were Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities and for students with disabilities and many other options also available for needy students.

Campus Life

I personally never felt any sort of discrimination here In the college on the basis of any gender or religion and also never saw any sort of discrimination taking place with any other students in the college. Everyone is treated equally. Various Cocurricular activities used to take place such as debates, quizzes, seminars, sports meets, and cultural meets and you can easily join this club.

Admission

Admission is fully online mode and verification is offline mode, admission is based on merit scorecard. There is no Entrance Exam for admission. Eligibility of the course 10+2 passed with math compulsory in 10+2, with a minimum percentage of 45%. The application form is available on the website of the college. There are Reservations Benefits for Lower castes like SC/st, obc, ews, pwd students as per West Bengal govt. policy No improvement is needed as such, the admission process is easy and simple.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
