I dislike only the management of our college just because if you have any problem or query then will not provide direct help to you.The provide solution very late to you.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it has a great placement record. The ratio is good in my college. There are great teachers who provide quality knowledge and practical knowledge. The term exam is conducted every 4 months. It is easy to pass the term exams. The question that comes in the exam is not hard.

Internships Opportunities

I do have not enough knowledge about internships. But as far as I've heard our college has a great record of internship opportunities. In fact, our college has provided special internships to the 3rd year students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is around 13000 per semester. As compared to other universities, Delhi University's fees are lesser than other universities. Delhi University provides special scholarships for students every semester. If you are eligible for the scholarship then you will get around 8-10 thousand rupees.

Campus Life

The life on campus is very good at Delhi University. Every year An annual fest named VERVE is conducted. I enjoyed it a lot in my first semester. College societies also conducted events and festivals every year. Our college has a big library. You will read too many books in the library. Our college also has a big playground. Our college provides sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball and many extracurricular activities. A social group named "GREEN BRIGADE" is a social group that is run by the students.

Admission

The admission process is quite easy. First of all, you check the eligibility of your course and fill out the examination form on the college website. If you have any reservation quota then apply it. It will make it easy to gain admission to the University.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
