Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course as mechanical engineering is known as the king of engineering. The faculty members of our college are well educated from IITS and NITS. The teaching quality of our faculties is very good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many multinational companies come to our college to provide internships to the students. The stipend provided by them is about 12000. These internships help us in the near future to get jobs. The internships also help us in the work field.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. The highest package from our college is 12LPA and the average package is 4LPA. Almost 100% of students get placement from our college. My plan is also to get placement from the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike in our college as the fees are affordable. Besides our college provides scholarship facilities to each and every student. Our college also provides financial assistance to students having financial problems.

Campus Life

The annual fest in our college is known as Esperanza. Our library is full of books and journals. Classrooms have high-quality projectors for study. Cricket and football are played in our college. There are many social and cultural groups.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very good with wifi facilities. The quality of the food is very good and tasty. To rent for the hostel, there are forms on the college website. The locality around our hostel is very good as there is no disturbance.

Admission

I have taken the WBJEE exam and got a 20000 rank and chose mechanical engineering at Coochbehar Government Engineering College as it is one of the best colleges in West Bengal providing the best placement to their students.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
