Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members sare quite qualified, most of them are research fellows and hold a doctorate degree. But they are very strict. The depth of the subject is taught thoroughly, how students too have to give effort in order to score good marks. And the Faculties don't give good marks even though you are 100% correct.
Internships Opportunities
There are several companies who come for placement, however, most of the students are hired by TCS Wipro and several other companies. However, you can try hard to get good packages at the end of 4 years.
Placement Experience
Form third-year students become eligible for internships and fourth-year students become eligible for placement offers. Till now the highest package received was 1.1cr per annum off-campus and the average package is near about 6-9LPA for IT and security department.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually I personally, didn't receive any scholarships either from college or Government. But as per the source, there are several government scholarships available for the students of west Bengal which are considered in the college.
Campus Life
The books are provided by the college library. And there are several clubs run by students based on science, education, technology, society and many more. For sports too we have club, however, there are also several sports competition keep on taking place in our college.
Admission
College is more or less quite good in Academics, here the students are very competitive. Here, from the second year several other courses are made compulsory such as Full Stack web development using PHP, and several others. The facilities are quite qualified, but they are very strict. Attendance of a minimum of 75% is followed strictly and failing to do so will cause trouble. The fees are the same for all streams, except for TFW, and the students from the Techno India group, get concessions. To be eligible to take admission you have to give WBJEE, and get a rank under 8K is a safe zone.
