Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course as it is the leading trade nowadays. The faculty members are very qualified. They are qualified from IITS and NITS. Their teaching quality is very good and understandable. We understand it easily.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many multinational companies come to our college for internships. These internships help us in the near future to get a job and also helps us in our careers. The projects done during that time helped us a lot.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like tcs, Wipro, cognizant and Infosys visit our college. The highest package is 12LPA and the average package is 4LPA. Almost 100% of students got placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable and there is no fee hike. Besides they provide scholarship facilities to each and every student. Our college also helps the students with financial problems so that they can study.

Campus Life

The annual fest in our college is known as Esperanza. Our library has many books and journals. Our classes have projectors for studying. Cricket and football are played in our college. Besides there are many cultural groups.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are well equipped with wifi. The rooms are neat and clean. The quality of the food is very good and tasty. To register for hostel there are applications in the college website only. The locality around our hostel is also very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

I got admission through wbjee exam and after that l applied for computer science and engineering. I chose Coochbehar Government Engineering College as it is the best college for computer science and engineering

Interview Experience

The faculty members help us for interviews, GDs and written tests so that we should not face any problem in our interview. There is no other criteria for admission other than wbjee. The faculty members himself helps us.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
