NAAC A grade also The faculty members are highly educated. They teach us in a very understanding manner Exams are semester-wise (6 months duration) Exams are moderately difficult

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very very minimal. As it is a Govt. University, so semester fees are around 5710 along with the hostel facility. We get an SVMCM scholarship which helps us very much. We don't need to get any money from our family as the course fee is very low

Campus Life

5

Cultural and sports are very active depts of our University. We participated in the all-India cultural fest in Bangalore and the sports meet in Haryana also. Also, student union is there to help the students and sort out any kind of problems over there

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are spacious, airy, meal is quality is the best. Only 1700rs/month mess bill with 2 full meals. Regn process done in the admission procedure. We have to pay the hostel fee along with sem fee. Water and current is always available. Study friendly environment is there

Admission

The admission process was smooth and clear. The payment methods and procedures were very easy to understand. Teachers were present there during the time of the admission and they mocked us about the experience of our 1st College life.

It's not fixed at all. Placement is in the hands of the HOD of various departments. After a bachelor's degree students can easily afford on or off-campus with 3-4LPA. After my bachelor's degree, my personal plan is to complete MFSc as after the completion of my post-graduate job profile would be higher than BFSc.

Being a professional course as it is, the main goal is to train and create entrepreneurs who pioneer in the art of Pisciculture, its administration and management. Students can also apply for Government jobs, or participate in government funded projects in central research institutes, furthermore they can sought for higher education and research themselves, Choose teaching as their profession, and also seek a position in private fishing industries that are based generally on the culture and post harvesting, which is a highly profitable scope as well. Recruiters generally come towards the last semester in the final year. And students are eligible to apply from the (4rth year) final year itself. Almost all students are placed. I completed my master's from here from the Department of Fisheries Engineering and Technology and on completion am seeking opportunities for a PhD.

In the 4th year, students are eligible for campus placements. Students studying here mainly aim for Fishery Extension Officer (Govt. Post) but due to conflict of the demands, the recruitment is halted for now. Campus placements are not at all regular. The companies that visit here are CP, Biostadt etc. The faculty is planning to open a recruitment cell for regular campusing.

College management committee has done an excellent work in maintaining the integrity of thr campus. With fewer student density, the association among the students and teachers had been a blessing. Not to worry about non academic staffs are helpful in their own ways giving this campus a glossy look.
