The classrooms are very spacious and the college have a big campus. A beautiful garden is there.
The faculties are excellent. The help the students in any requirement
The library is also the thing I like here.

Dislikes

At library the books for commerce department are less available as compared to others.
It should have a lift facility for the handicapp students

I have chosen the b.com hons course because of my preference. The faculty are very good. They are very helpful and their qualifications are also high graded. examinations are held in the semester system. And the quality of examinations is a standard.

Big companies like TCS, Amazon, and Wipro come here with internship offers for students. They offer various post paid and non-paid internships are offered to willing students. They select the candidates according to their merits and skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it's a govt college college fees are low as compared to other colleges. they also have a fee deduction policy for poor and needy students. anyone can have a scholarship with good marks. I got svmcm scholarship. The placement cell of the college arranges many internship offers for the students.

Campus Life

A lot of sports and extracurricular activities happen here. Interested students can register themselves there. there is a social group in this college. Anyone can join there and they do a lot of social work.

Admission

There was no entrance examination. The admission process was held through the college's online portal. The admission was on a merit basis according to H.'s examination marks. Maulana Azad College is a government college which is affiliated with Calcutta University. it is an 'A' graded college. It offers about 21 subjects for bachelor's and has 3 subjects for masters.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

My point of view of HCC( Heramba Chandra College)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

I applied for almost all of the NAAC accredited A graded college. In each of those my name appeared for the selection list for admission.
