Remarks

I have chosen this course because it teaches History, a subject, and I like to study in detail. The college should provide an opportunity for live projects and work in real-life experimental scenarios. Scholarships are available and are given on merit basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members depend a lot on the department. Departments in the humanities section have better faculty compared to others such as the commerce department. The course curriculum is managed by CU. It was extremely outdated and out of touch with current developments. Recently it has been updated.

Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

I am still pursuing this course. I have heard recruiters are very strict, but they offer an excellent salary. Last year about 87% of the students got placements in top companies, and they are well settled. I am looking forward to positive results in the next year.

College Events

The root of Maulana Azad College is the commerce department. They provide classrooms with projectors. The college provides common room for both boys and girls. The library is air-conditioned. It has very good canteen. It provides a well-built gym for students fitness. It also provides community hall, auditorium and hygienic washrooms.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of our college is quite old. Most of the equipment is either outdated or extremely slow and inefficient. Being a government college, requesting for upgrades or replacements takes forever. However, some departments have good infrastructure such as biology department. Overall, it needs improvement.

The course curriculum and faculty members are good. I chose this because English is my favourite subject.Also it you study English there are lots of opportunities present here. Student ratio is 100-120 student per department.There are 26 courses available The faculty is very standard.Teaching Method is very good because attendence is strictly followed by our college.One of the reasons teachers are committed to us .They try their level best to teach us in short time.There are projectors also used in our classes.Overall it is satisfactory. Every term exam happens in 6 months. It is very difficult to pass those exams.As our college is under VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY,so questions are set by them.Thats why exams are very difficult to pass.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

I choosen this course because of interest in the field of Information techn...ugy. Faculties are very good and they have good teaching experience. Qualification for the faculty is 7 to 8 years teaching experience and degree of PHD. Term exams held two times ever year. Difficulty is moderate.
