Course Curriculum Overview

Help is always available, everyone in our department helps. But classes are compulsory and there are advanced science labs. The fees for science are less than other colleges.But Calcutta University is a little late in giving results and also gives low marks.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

When the exam is held, the university charges 400 taka for the exam fee registration. Please, in the first year, it took 450 taka and for the first year, it took 2000 taka and for the third semester, it took 1800 taka again and I I live in a hostel and the government takes fifteen hundred taka a year.The hostel costs 4500 per month, so I go to do this job.

Campus Life

Yes, the annual sports library is cleaned, the classroom projector is used every month, the campus is very clean and I am enjoying my student life a lot. The weight is a bit more expensive in a hostel.

Admission

Yes, other colleges charge a lot of freebies but we charge very little. Everything is good, classes are held every day, but not in other colleges, especially in the science department, classes are held every day.Is

Faculty

There are no words for me, the college fees are so good, always low.The college's sports department, student section, everything is good. We have cricket matches with other colleges every year.And our Bengali department sir is good.

Interview Experience

No, there was no interview, but the more marks you get in 12th, the more chances you have of getting admitted to the college.There was a problem in the first round, but the name was not revealed.The name came out right in the second round.

Night Life

There are no late night activities but more emphasis is placed on cricket. The college has a gym, a library, a canteen and a hostel. It is Maulana Azad College, which has its own hostel. Only Muslim boys can stay in that hostel.

From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.

Presidency University: A hope of light but needs a lot of upgradation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Department of Bengali is one of the oldest Bengali department in the state. It offers undergraduate honours and postgraduate courses. Recently, they have started PhD courses as well. The Bengali department is actively engaged in research in hot topics in literature. The curriculam of Presidency university is most diverse among all other University, colleges in the state. It begins with very basic topics at the first year and ends with very specific research level papers at the final year. The syllabus is so advance that bachelors students can compare themselves with the masters level students after completeing the course. I will mention the bachelor course curriculam in summary: Semester I- Prachin Bangla Sahitya O Bangalir Itihas sandhan, Bangla bhasar itihas o bhasatotto, Semester II- Prak chaitanya juger bangla sahityer itihas, Madhyajuger bangla sahityer itihas o kabyapath, Semester III- Shorosh o soptodosh shotabdir samaj: itihas o chaitanyadeb, Ashtadosh shatabdir samaj sangkriti, changa-alanlkar o prof sangsodhan, Semester IV- Adhunik juger udbhab, gadya o probondho sahitya, kabya-kabitae itihas, natoker itihas o rupbhed, Semester V- Bangla Upanyas, Bangla chotogolpo, Rabindranath, Semester VI- Unish o Bish shataker bangla samaj songskriti o sahitya, bhinna bhasar sahityer itihas o tar obhighat, bharatiya alangkar shatra, sahitya o shilpo. Other than these compulsory courses, there are lot of exceptional elective courses that attracted me more towards joining this prestigious university. Since Presidency University select specific students through their difficult entrance tests, the semester exams should not be difficult for the students, but there are some papers in the course which needs to delt with extra care and attention to get extra marks.

I wouldn't eliminate content without background we cannot form good, rational and educated conclusions. We still giving timed tests.
