I think I got one of the best college in Kolkata under Calcutta University as my college. I'm very thankful to all the teachers and the principal.
Course Curriculum Overview
Semester based examination. So students have short time to complete their syllabus. We are the first in the semester system. The college is under Calcutta University. Some departments have PG facilities. But my chemistry department don't have PG facilities. You have to get minimum 30% to pass.
Placement Experience
Generally I don't know about the thing. But I think that there is no such companies visit in the college. May be I am wrong.
College Events
The college organise all the social activities or festivals. Cultural activities are also held. There are also NRS activities, seminar activities, sports activities, co curricular activities, miscellaneous activities are held. Our college is one of the DBT star college in Calcutta. So there are many seminars are organised by all departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I was admitted my admission fees was 1125 Rs. There are semester fees in every semester. Semester fees is also very low. There are also the university fees in every semester. It's also very low. The fees are dependent on the respective semesters. Recently my college started a special task for the students who have very bad economical conditions in their family.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has no special scholarship programme for it's students. But you can get all the government or private scholarships.
Campus Life
Our college campuse is very short in area. The canteen facility should be modified. Also there is no such ground to play. Lab facilities are very good. Annual sports competitions are held like run, badminton, cricket, football, table tennis etc. Prize distribution is also held.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpfull. They don't interrupt our studies. So we are all good. The senior in student union are very helpfull and very good.
Admission
It's a government college. So the college fees very low compare to the others college. Students are very talented. I got admission through the merit list. Admission process was online also offline. The college is under Calcutta University. I am in chemistry department. The lab has all that I need.
Faculty
I got many talented teachers in my department. They all have doctorate degree. They are ground to earth. And the student teacher communication is very good. They all are very helpfull. I'm very lucky to have them as my teachers and to have such a great college.
