Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is tough when it comes to professional courses but the college makes it much easier for students to cope with the enormous syllabus and the practical experiences required. The faculty-to-student ratio is good and every student gets to learn in a conducive environment. The teachers are highly qualified. The exams are conducted properly and results are declared timely.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is a 12-month period with a handsome stipend paid monthly. The students are given enough opportunities to learn during this time. Hands-on experience is provided to all students in all the departments.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very nominal 4500 INR per semester totaling to a 9000 INR per year. The students can avail of various government scholarships that are available via central and state governments. The students have to do a mandatory 1 year paid internship in the same hospital.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Lobelia which is the biggest fest in eastern India. It's conducted in the month of August- September and is always a star-studded affair with various cultural and sports events. The annual academic fest is Therapeuo which precedes Lobelia and is a grand knowledge convention with some of the biggest names in medicine gracing the occasion. The library is fully functional with a great assortment of books.

Admission

The admission process was extremely smooth. Applicants have to write the NEET UG exam and clear the cutoff which varies every year depending on the complexity of the paper and the number of applicants.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Best medical College in west bengal

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
