The campus is good .also the environment is also good for study.
Program are held on different basis..sports agrifest are held annually .. mainly extra curricular activities are good.
Hostels are there for the students.. Students can apply on different types of scholarship

Dislikes

The hostel food is comparatively not so good...it can be done done better
The exam schedule is too lengthy here.ones it starts then it takes too time to finish.
There are no fixed long vacation in any time except Durga puja.wr have to manage the class then go home.

All are good. Because I wanted to study based on this course. In horticulture facilities, there are comparatively fewer students than agriculture faculty. Students should pass the 12th examination with enough marks. The semister exams are sometimes difficult. it depends upon the semester.

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

During the admission, every student should give about 7000 rupees. They include the bus fee, lab fee, and semester fee and if anyone wants to stay in a hostel then the amount is also added. Yes, the students can apply for scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life is also good. During the time of winter, when the freshers program is arranged then social is also arranged. We get the facility of Central library here. Annually sports matches are held and also angriest are held.

Admission

The admission process was good. I didn't take any examinations to get admission to this University. I got admission based on my 12th percentile. 12 th pass. On the website of bckv, anyone can get any information about this university. Yes, there are some reservation benefits. SC ST OBC etc.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
