Course Curriculum Overview

It's a great curriculum. New type of agriculture knowledge you getting from here. The student ratio is 60:40. Faculty are great they take a class like a pro. They are well-established and great minds. But exams are very frequent. We get 2 months of no exams in a semester but at all times there is an exam like the midterm, end term, and practical viva.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

There is rawe program in the last semester. Campus placement is good to average many banking or start-up farms giving jobs to students. And mainly students prepare for jrf, srf, and banking exams. 40% of students getting placed in ending the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 10k per semester. Nowadays times there is a fee hike policy. But we oppose it not to hiking the fees. However, the cost of the study is minimal. It is a state university so here fees and costs are minimal. You get scholarships and financial assistance from various government schemes.

Campus Life

Annual Fest Naihrit is wonderful everyone enjoys it like a pro. We feel like a rockstar. Many reputed and Bollywood artists came to the fest. We have the largest library in east asia. We have many smart classrooms. And well-equipped gymnasium and many sports activities. And here is many cultural groups and meme page run by the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are great. Its facilities are good. Meal quality is comparatively good. Everyone gets a chance in the hostel. Hostel cost is very low and the rented room or pg are 3k to 5k per month. Hostel lifes are great.

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

Admission

The admission process is based on HS marks. And reservation benefits are available. If you check the website you will get all types of news about that matter. The application form is very simple. The application fee is minimal.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
