Embroidering Ayurveda into my DNA

College is overall very good in every sense of the word,be it from the management point or academic point of view.

JKCET,2005.I secured 177 in the entrance test which meant i was the topper of the list of students who got BAMS seats as against ever-so-wished MBBS seats by one and all.

The modern,revised course curriculum of BAMS as revised by CCIM New Delhi is exceptional in the sense that it enroots basic .Ayurveda into the student's conscience while cementing it with modern allopathic science well enough so that the student can co work in any hospital in the future.

College internship is ok in the sense that due to its peripheral location,patient footfall is low than expected.As a result stipend is not paid to any internee. However apart from the three month course internship period of college,the rest 9 months internship period(compromising of 3 month internship period at Government Hospital Shalamar ,Jammu and the rest 6 months internship period at prominent Allopathic hospitals at Jammu )are awesome from learning point of view though there is no stipend there also.

With Union Government all ready and working to uplift Ayurveda Science and the Ayurveda practitioners,the future of Ayurvedic Physicians has never been so bright and shinning.

Scholarships are provided by MOMA Govt Of India as per their guidelines per year.Regarding the lone facility college does ease out the procedure regarding educational lone to a student through their help desk.

Campus life overall is as beautiful and educative as it can get fo any Medical College.Gender ratio bends more towards the famales.Hostel parties are not allowed at any cost for security purposes and gender biasis or descrimination on the basis of religion,caste ,creed etc is disallowed in letter and spirit.

The experience has been positive ,encouraging,motivating and educative to say the least.The seniors always help in widening the horizons of possibilities,abilities and also help in directing our efforts in the right direction to achieve our goals.

Exams are held in 4 Proffesional Exams pattern conducted at 1.5 year duration (3 proffs) and 1 year duration (4th proffs) plus 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.
