Only thing you liked about this is that I have get a good set of friends. Teachers are understanding , staff is good

Toxic behavior of the medical college atmosphere. People are very toxic here.you can't trust anyone here .people only here are for competitive purpose

Course Curriculum Overview

The only thing which influence people to choose this course is they don't get any government seat . The exam is conducted thrice 2 is internal and 1 is external. It's a year long course . It's a course of 5 and half year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is about 200000 per year and you have to apply through neet councling . Hostel is not included in this fees .you have to give 6500 per month for hostel fees. You donttget any sort of scholarship you have to go fully adapt for full fees

Campus Life

Infrastructure is not so good. Their is no social life . The only thing which happens is Goong at year end . Their is no clud . No social life is their. Their is no campus life and so social life you only have to focus on studies

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is 1 km away . It's nice and rent is 6500 per month . It's descent vegetarian hostel. The rooms accomodation if of 2-3 person,it depends upon the year you are studying . Quality is decent not that good.

Admission

I wasn't able to get a seat so I was getting this collage which was near my home so it's I thought it's better that I got admission in this collage. I didn't apply for any other collage.that was my mistake and don't do it

Faculty to student ratio is very nice . But only bad thing is that here is little competitive behaviour. Exam is conducted by university of Jammu and now there is 3 proof of 1 and half year . Exam is not so difficult but need to do hardwork

A glimpse to JIAR jammu

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bams is a very good course.. Here we learn about the ancient medicine.. How things in our surrounding aan we very beneficial for us. So here each proff is of 1.5 years And in each proff there are 3exams after every 6 months. The first 2 are terminals and are conducted in college and the last is the main proff exam which is conducted by the uni affiliated.

I choosed BAMS because of increasing demand of ayurveda medicine. Needs bit more reacher works in this field More clinical exposure to students during UG course Exams need to be conducted on time yearly along with monthly assessments

Course Curriculum Overview:

BAMS is our tradition, the oldest type of medical science and with the advent of growing ayurvedic practices in day-to-day life, it is a good course to take up. The college takes around 90 students per batch where there is no fixed female: male ratio. The faculty is decent. The administration could be better. The exams were sometimes not conducted on time or the result was pending and due to covid, the 5.5 yr got converted to almost 7 yrs.

Remarks:

Well it needs improvement in academics and new teaching learning methods and in a friendly atmosphere classes can be taken. College needa good furniture for students and coolers in classrooms, projectors for advanced education proper cleaniness and well equipped bathrooms and hygiene.

After giving the JKCET (state exam for medical colleges), I got into the college after the counselling sessions held. I tried for MBBS but couldn't get into it and chose BAMS later. There was no such quota. I applied in Open merit although JKCET has quotas like sc/st/obc etc Counselling is the same as any other counselling process.
