Final prof. Student

Well it needs improvement in academics and new teaching learning methods and in a friendly atmosphere classes can be taken. College needa good furniture for students and coolers in classrooms, projectors for advanced education proper cleaniness and well equipped bathrooms and hygiene.

Exams are carried yearly besides the terminal exams taken at college. Final exams are conducted by jammu University but always late.exams are never on the expected dates but taken randomly and haphazardly.

Yes most of the student get placement in college as lecturer while 70% appear in psc exam and persue further education in M.D. AND M.S. and college even offers post graduation courses in certain subjects.

Most of the events and days are celebrated in the college like blood donation camps, family planning awareness drive, art and crafts drive, plantation drive, marathon, yoga day, dhanvantari day, diabetes day, cancer day,

Expensive i felt because we the students who qualified entrance still had to pay 1 lakh and 49 thousand instead of 90000 rs per year as per brochure and per year is 1 lakh 14 thousand besides the bus fare of 12000 to 16000 , facilities provided are minimal.

There were scholarships for professionals not through college but via NSP. And we applied till this date didn't recieve even a penny, however scholarships are fixed and for few through some means are accessible which we dont know.

Earlier there were no extra curricular activities however recently they have started offering some. We have big labs there, recently sports like badminton, table tennis, cricket have been started. Labs are good but can be better.

I haven't opted for the hostel as it costa 7000 per month and what they offer is dal watery and not so good and hygienic food. I opted for renting of 5000 per month which is located in the city. However, the college hostel is in the outskirts.

Talking of seniors i personally never sought any help from them but were good to talk with and have treated us well. Seniors were friendly. Even during our clinicals most of them were guiding and helping us to learn better.

Faculty keeps on changing like principal and most of the staff and lecturers however authority and the family associated is the same. So sometimes it ia good sometimes not. Faculty needs to conduct exams on time and gives results on time to provide degrees on time for the future of students. Course is of 5 and half years however everyone has completed it in 7 or 8 yrs which is hectic.
