Likes

I liked the main building of the campus the most.
I liked the greenery around the campus also.
I liked the canteens of the campus and the shops as well.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food and the hygiene in the mess.
I disliked the hostels that do not have required facilities.
I disliked the washrooms which are rarely cleaned.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose because I was getting this course only because the faculty-to-student ratio is very low and the faculty is not that great the term exams come after 2 months and they are easy to pass and attendance also carries marks. All the faculty are Ph.D. holders.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 141300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

A fee hike is given to students who are having an income of less than 5 lakhs and then we have scholarships based on department rank 1 or 2 or 3 regarding jobs companies come every year and pay an amount of money.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Thomson and tech fest is cognizance all books which are required are present in the library amenities in the classroom include a well-equipped ac and projector screen and sound system sports amenities are also well and clubs like img and slabs and pag are present for development and cp.

Admission

For this course, we have to clear jee advanced and you can fill out jee advanced forms and then this exam has two papers and you can apply through jee adv website I have not availed any reservation as I am a general candidate. The admission process should be faster. No need for any improvements in the admission process.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
