The infrastructure is good and air conditioner classroom
Very green campus . And gender ratio is avarage
Faculty members are very supportive and good

Dislikes

The thing that I dislike that they are not utilising the full campus field
Practical work is poor .. theoretically all cleared
Professor are work very slow at their level in case of any difficulty

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a mechanical engineer. Mechanical engineering is a very old branch in our college. Course curriculum I little bit tough as you know. Some faculty is new and some are old. Student Strength is 111. I had an interest in physics so I took this course. There is one mid sem and one end sem exam in one semester.

Class Size: 111Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intern opportunity is provided in 2 and year And 3 year also depending upon company to company. There are two projects in our curriculum, minor and major projects. We have to select pir supervisor and Interested field.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is very good, almost everyone got an average package of 8-10 laks in last year everyone got a package. My plan is basically to achieve a good on-campus placement in our college, almost 90% of students got placed in the mechanical department.

Fees and Financial Aid

We can apply Through NSP Portal for scholarships. Campus jobs are very predominant in our college. almost every student gets a package of an average of 8 lakhs, we can apply through our state scholarship portal also.

Campus Life

There is a 2 annual fest in our college. Technity and Utkansh, Utkansh is our cultural fest. There is a huge library in our college where we can issue all books. campus life is very good. All members and students are very supportive.

Admission

The admission process is done on the basis of josaa and csab counseling, you have to crack Jee mains which happens twice a year. after counseling, you have to do physical reporting in their college.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
