the infrastructure is good and you can enjoy the vibe of this greenary campus .
the faculty are good they are all have done mastery in their job and they have high knowledge about their field.

Dislikes

things that i have disliked about my college is that campus size my expectation from this college in terms of college size is high but at the end i got hurt because of this campus size.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want computer science but unfortunately, I didn't get that and as per my rank I got mechanical Engineering in this college. the student ratio is 1:5 means 20 girls and 100 boys and may be varies. the qualification of teachers is mostly from nit and government colleges from different states and their approach to teaching is different and innovative and good. there will be 2 exams in one semester one is a mid-semester exam and the other will end the semester exam and the level will be moderate and you can easily pass this exam .and it basically more practical knowledge than the theory part.

the campus placements are good in recent years the placements are good if your cgpa is good then you can easily take a good campus placement. from the 7th semester, you are eligible to take placements. The highest package offered by a company made is 1.2cr and the average package is 8.5lpa. and in every branch, approx 90% of students are eligible for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for this course in college are minimal and it's worth it here if your financial are not so good then you can take a student loan from college. and if you fall under the scholarship criteria then you can avail scholarship.

Campus Life

Life at college is awesome. and the tech fest TECHNITI is the biggest tech fest in north India the availability of books is good in the college library and the curricular activities are good .their are lots of clubs and societies so you can join them.

Admission

In this college admission is through JEE MAINS which was held twice a year and the application form are open in September and January or February on jossa official website the fees for the form is around 650 rs for general and obc and around 300 rs for girls and sc and st and the reservation are for girls and sc st and obc. the reservation for girls is 25%of seats in college and for sc st and OBC boys the reservation is as per the government constitution. the improvement I would like to have in the admission process is that it must be quick and transparent and free from reservation.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
