Genuine point of view

As currently I am pursuing my BTech from NIT Jalandhar, so due to my passion for this course I chose this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good in my college and the faculties are highly qualified (studied from foreign universities and top IITs) and some faculties are really very good in their subject.

On-campus internship opportunities are not good as only a few companies come to my college and they offer very less internships to students. But if you are hard working then you have to apply for off-campus internship opportunities.

There are many types of jobs opportunity after completing the course like if you want to go with on-campus placements then you have an edge as you have to compete with your peers only but for off-campus placements, you have to compete with the huge no. of competitors.

The Fees of NITs are less than compared to IITs and there are scholarships and financial assistance also for students whose family income is less than a certain limit. And on-campus job opportunities are quite good in my college.

The campus life of NITJ is not that good as the campus is very low compared to other colleges but the infrastructure is maintained on the campus and all the necessary amenities are provided to you on the campus. Many clubs are there for your holistic growth.

So all the necessary facilities will be provided to you in the hostel as well as a room also. And the meal quality is not that good it is just eatable and the hostel areas are full of greenery and parks and exercise equipment is also there.

To take admission to prestigious colleges like IITs and NITs, you have to give the JEE Mains(for NITs and GFTIs) and JEE Advanced(for IITs) exams. After you cleared the exam you have to fill out the JoSAA and CSAB counselling by which you got admission to the college. And your rank decides your college so please be serious about the exam. And if you have any category reservation then you have too much edge compared to the general category.
