Mess foood sometimes is very bad. Food quality is average. If you want to have sweets in diet they put them in extera.
Campus is very Small as compared to the other NIT's.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I like Engineering as a profession because everything we see around in this world is the work of an engineer. From needle to aeroplane everything is made by an engineer. Faculty Ratio is 1:6 All are PhD holders some even have Post Doctorate degrees. One midterm and one final exam it is very very very easy to pass

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies do visit our college for internship opportunities. They provide different roles like SDE, DATA ANALYST and production ENginner. THE stipend offered is also quite impressive. The offer is around 50k-70k.

Placement Experience

Form 7th sem they are eligible for placements. Many companies do visit like Microsoft, Flipkart, Honda, Google, AMAZONE and many more. The highest package is 1.2 Crore. The average is 6 lacs. 80-90% of students get placed. To get a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very nominal. If you are coming from not a very stable financial background then you can still be able to study here because govt. provide scholarships to students. If your income is less than 1 lacs then your tuition fee is 0 but you have to pay the same institution or other fee. The loan is also available for students.

Campus Life

The annual fest is UTKANSH. It is conducted in March or April. The annual tech fest is TECHNITI. It is conducted in October or November. There are thousands of books available in the library. Fully equipped with modern technology, Full AC. There are many sports. Clubs DSC, PERIENTH, DAKSH, ZEAL, PAREASE etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not good. The hostel rooms are not big and sometimes the switchboards don't work properly. Single rooms are available for 4th-year students 2nd and 3rd year are two shared and 1st year 4 sharing. Meal quality is average. The registration process is easy and affordable

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

One must go through JEE Mains for the NIT and For IIT one have to appear for JEE ADVANCE after clearing JEE mains. Application forms are available on the JoSSA site and the fee for the form is for GEN, GEN-Ews, OBC Rs1000 and 500 for SC/ST/PwD. Seats must be increased.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
